Curious who the go to gunsmiths would be for having a 516 barrel cut? Also, anyone know if the gas port will need to be opened up at all? It is a 14.5" upper and I was thinking of cutting down to 11-12" range. It will be run suppressed most of the time.

I asked a local smith to do it.  Six months later I picked it up.  It's still 14.5" long

Class 3 Machining.  Morgan will take care of it quickly and the work is phenomenal.

He's done multiple barrels for me.

I have had great experience with Class III as well.  Has a quick turn around.
