Evening gents, I just had my debit card charged last Thursday for a 08 importer license and am currently waiting for the local office to call me sometime in the next few weeks. However I have a few question...

First I know that it was suppose to be a 60 to 70 day period once they charge your payment method, but does anyone know what covid has done to that time table (if anything)?

And secondly because I live in the glorious people’s republic of Massachusetts, I need to obtain a state dealer license on top of the FFL (which takes another 50 to 70 days in its own right). However I can not submit my state dealer application until I have my FFL number. So tldr, can you get a electronic copy of your FFL from the ATF (or at the least your FFL number), or is it 100% snail mail?

I had my card charged 2/22. Had the interview 4/8. Still waiting on the FFL in the mail. Type 8 as well.

See if the IOI wrote your 1st 3 and last 5 on your app for the interview and check it in FFL EZ Check. You won’t have your whole number but you’ll get your FFL hard copy soon after that.

The ATF received my application on March 1st and the check ran through on March 5th and I'm still waiting to hear from someone, nothing yet.

ATF charged my card on March 25th and I just got the call today to schedule my interview (May 20th). 07 FFL application.

ATF Cashed my check 3/25 - Interview 4/30 - FFL received 5/18

My type 7 was exactly 60 days from the day payment was processed to my IOI interview last week.
The Investigator told me it's normally 2-3 weeks to get the license but due to the current situations, be prepared for 3-6 weeks.
