[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Criterion .308 Garand barrels are already parkerized, right?

I'm getting ready to send my Garand off to Shuff to get the barrel swapped out to .308 using one of his barrels.
As near as I can tell, I don't need any parkerizing because the .308 barrel should be already parkerized and the rest of my gun is gtg.

Do I have this right?

Yes, they are parkerized. And I love their barrels.

I visited them earlier this year and they gave me a tour of their facility. They are great people and they put a lot of effort into their work

Tim does great work, and those .308 Criterion tubes are shooters. You'll end up being a very happy dude.
