| Is there any way to do this in an affordable, non-custom way? I got the rifle at a good price a few years back. I wouldn't be opposed to changing the stock if need be. |

I contacted Ruger before I started this thread. They responded that they couldn't help with anything involving "aftermarket parts."

Possibly not exactly pertinent, but the metal single-stack 10-rd mag (AI-style, I believe) which originally came with my Ruger GSR rattled loudly in the mag well and was stupidly too long. Replaced it with polymer double-stack Ruger mags of varying capacities, and zero problems. IDK if the same single-stack 10-rd metal mag is still offered by Ruger for the GSR; Did some looking on Ruger site, and don't see it. ETA: Many current pix on Ruger site of the GSR rifle "seem" to show the same steel mag I got long ago. Current GSR rifle may/may not be shipped with same mag. Understood that the metal single stack mag I found to be unsat may be very different from the polymer "AI-style" mags currently offered. Just throwing it out there and hopefully my comments help. |

They offer one for the predator. I did a thread here on my swap. I don't know about the ranch other than mine came with AR style magazine well. My thread. |

I have mine already swapped out to AI mags. I just wonder if an AR10 magwell might be something they'll offer. Unlikely I know - but I can dream. |

When I called Ruger, I asked for the AR magazine kit and had no issue ordering it. Couple of things. They needed the serial to the rifle and then I had to verify several times that if it didn’t work then they wouldn’t provide support. It was easy. I have it installed on the 7.62x39 using AR magazines. |
