Estate clean-out continues. The SOT I am working with found some more ammo. The headstamp makes me think it was made in 1969. Wondering if this ammo has any historical/collector value or should just be pulled apart for components?

The 1 buckshot in the photo - I thought those were pretty recent. There were more apparently but the SOT misplaced them. Hopefully track them down in a few weeks.

Nice find. With what people pay for them, it'd be hard to shoot them.

I got 3 of those Shivak flechette rounds earlier this year. Plan on shooting at least one to get on video and finish designing my own 3d printed version

Whatever you do, DO NOT pull them apart for components. Nice score there, you've got both the 1" and 1.5" flechette rounds made by Randy Shivak and they're very reloadable. Especially with the prevalence of 3D printers now to manufacture a replacement pusher cup and cap. The originals were made using a lathe and solid PVC bar stock.

I have no idea what their designation is or what people pay for them, thats why I posted it. I know people pay an arm and a leg for collectors stuff. I didn't know these were Shivaks rounds. The deceased was a ranger back in vietnam and a cop for 23 years, on swat team. He had a personally registered m203. I assumed much of the ammo was pocketed from the department back in the day.

You are doing awesome work with the airburst round nose cones and chalk cones, let me know if I can help any way.
