Recently bought a Milwaukee brand "duct knife" at Home Depot.  Later I found a Klein branded "duct knife".  For 15 or 20 dollars they are great tool box blades and are almost the functional equivalent of a Gerber MkII.

This one? https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-5-5-in-Duct-Knife-48-22-1920/205935390

Interesting.

A lot of states restrict or outright ban the carrying of a "dagger", one of these could easily get someone hemmed up.

That’s pretty interesting.  May have to pick one up.

"tool box knife", i.e. have it IN your toolbox.  A $15 item that won't hurt if lost...or discarded if a problem arises.

I just picked up a Milwaukee Duct Knife. Not a bad knife for the price.  The edge(s) need a little cleaning up but that will be easy enough.

I also found this hanging beside it so I grabbed one of those too:
Tradesman Knife

I haven’t put them to use in any way yet. I like that they are both full tang.  But what I really like is the sheath because they clip on your belt like a Mora sheath.

Lots of times I’ll need to grab a knife for something but don’t really want to thread it onto my belt.  I really like how easily you can take on/off a Mora, but I’ve been wanting something more substantial.  We’ll see how these do.

Hmm. Probably gonna have to get one too because it'll match my drill and 12v impact.

I currently have a carbon Morakniv Companion in my car.
