Traded into this one recently and am surprised at how well I'm liking it after being an AR guy since 1982. Not sure if I'm digging the sling setup I have right now with an ESD sling QD'd in the front and attached to the takedown pin in the rear. Would prefer a rear QD as well.
What sling setup is everyone running on their AUG's? What defense ammo does your 16 inch AUG prefer?  Attached File Attached File |

I was surprised how much I like the 2.33 mount height, took no time at all to get used to the upright position. Once I got used to the initial 'wtf' I like it now. Seems more natural than crunching down on the stock but only time will tell if it is as consistent as the 1.93 mounts I usually use on AR's.
