Tech answer = looks good, check back with updates on how well it wears
GD answer = should switch that outlet to GFI near water source.. |

I used this stuff. I got it at Walmart pretty cheap. I just wiped down the parts with alcohol, let it dry, and put one coat on. It wen on pretty thick and easy. I think I want to pain on an emblem on the right side if the lower receiver, but I need to find a design I like. My wife has a vinyl cutter, so I can make an accurate template. |

Paint job looks good.
If it is like my house, they have a GFCI breaker installed that covers all of the plugs. |

Welcome to the Bore-Dome!
While I have used the same paints for camo rifles, I have found the rustoleum satin brand for solid colors to be quite durable. I did a buttstock in rustoleum satin, dark taupe was the color, and it matched with magpul fde quite well. Unfortunately I have not been able to find that color locally anywhere. There is a satin nutmeg that is close. |
