I have a Benelli M4 that I had intentions of doing a form 1 SBS on a trust. I have never been a shotgun guy and a buddy offered to do the laser engraving at the time for free as he was setting up a new engraver he had purchased. The lettering was very shallow. He has since moved out of state, I never filed any paperwork on the shotgun and really want to sell it because I never use it.

My question is, what would be the best way to “delete” my info? Have another local guy laser engrave something over it? I understand this will hurt the value of the shotgun but like I said, it is not being used and I have other irons in the fire.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Dremel to the rescue.

I'd probably just have another engraver figure.out a way to tastefully block out your info.

I got a blem 80% lower from a friend. He had etched it too deep. I used 2-part steel epoxy to fill (The type one kneads together.).  After sanding and Duracoat...invisible. My personal logo laser etched on it now.
