Not even worth the price. I snagged a LTT Fastback Optic Mount instead and mounted a Holosun 509T X2 behind it. The LTT Fastback is the same price as that LPA rear sight and you get an optic mount for an ACRO, RMR or 509T. |

Now a real killer, when he picked up the ZF1, would have immediately asked about the little red button on the bottom of the gun.

I picked up an A300 before the recent TDI Shotgun Jamboree and ran it off and on over the weekend. It's a great shotgun but I upgraded most of the things I could from Aridus as he was there and did the installs for me between blocks of instruction, he's a good dude. My only gripe is the factory stock. I'm firmly in the Rob Haught school of thought that the stocks need to be far shorter than they come from the factory. My SBS 870 I put a Magpul SGA on and actually removed the buttpad entirely, replacing it with a Dark Star Gear unpadded plate. It's perfect and provides a nice slick surface for doing transitions with. Having sad that, the A300s recoil assembly being in the stock, makes it impossible to use the Aridus Industries adapter plate to use an SGA stock. And the couple of after market stocks I've found for the A300 look terrible to me. That is honestly probably going to make me sell this updated A300 and get a 1301. |
| Beretta made the 20 gauge UP with a shorter stock. They will (at some point) make it available with an adapter so it will fit on the wider 12 gauge UP. I waited for a number of months hoping that the short stock would be released for the 12. I gave up and went ahead and sold the UP and got the 1301. Threw the Magpul short stock on it and am very happy with the shorter stock. |

Has anyone else had their magazine tube unscrew from the receiver? I was doing some routine cleaning after shooting approximately 500 rounds and when I was removing the magazine cap I felt the tube unscrew from the receiver. I reached out to Beretta and they insisted that the magazine tube should NOT be able to be unscrewed, however mine wasn't even finger tight and showed no residue of thread-locker. They suggested I put some blue loc-tite on the threads and screw it back down hand tight. I was just curious if anyone else's has come loose? |

I had mine come loose. 2x matter of fact. Also no evidence of threadlocker from the factory. I degreased and used blue loctite + hand tight the first time, that didn't work. Second time I did the same but was more liberal with my loctite application. No problems so far with it coming undone again. |

I broke down and got a 1301 mod 2 and using the Aridus stock adapter put a Magpul SGA stock on it. Replaced the buttpad with a darkstar gear buttplate. The length of pull between the two is insane. I even removed the buttpad from the A300 and put a Jones adapter buttplate on it. There is easily a 1 1/2" to 2" difference in the LOP. I really hate that they went with the recoil assembly in the stock to make it impossible to put a better stock on the A300. The OEM stock is made for gorilla arms. |
