Pac Nor can't or won't do it. Anyone have any ideas?
And yes- I'm looking at necking down a bushmaster cannon round to .50 caliber.

Can you even find a .50 barrel blank that is thick enough to work? You’re looking at a lot of pressure and an extremely large chamber. I don’t know if you would have the wall thickness left to handle the pressure with any regular .50 blanks.

You could ask Mark at Serbu Firearms, but nobody is going to have that reamer. Pacific Tool and Gauge can make the reamer. Mark just sold a 50 cal barrel with a messed up chamber for $125 a couple of weeks ago that would have been a good barrel to experiment with. I also thought Anzio was long out of business.

What you seek to start is 50 Fat Mac.
Was a necked down 20mm Vulcan round for 50BMG. Whoever was doing FatMacs(maybe it was pacnor) might point you in the right direction. Also you might research the .95 JDJ just for LULZ |

Could you thread or press fit a hefty reinforcement around the chamber area? Think tube inside a tube. Might be able to use it like a barrel extension for any locking lugs.
