How will work out:  I have an aluminum 10/22 trigger housing, but I can get a used BX at a good price.  I don't want to give up the aluminum.  Will swapping the parts out be the same as using the BX unmodified, or does the polymer housing play any part in the smoothness..

Thanks

The polymer housings are much more precise dimensionally and this plays into the potential for a better trigger. Dimensions on the old cast aluminum housings were all over the place. The polymer is stronger too.
