Now thats what I call soldering vol 2

Guess what i noticed?

I dont always short my ribbon to the battery, but when I do, I did it because someone didnt rtv right. Armasight should double check the solders and the insulators. This is the kinda shit that causes people to go "my new tube just went bad why come armasight is garbagae" when its just shitty china welds no one bothered to check. Same reason atn n14s or whatever the clone is gets damaged in water... It aint a seal when its just metal on metal ala.

l Bless up fam.

Good recruiting poster for TNVC.

Unless you just enjoy cracking open your NV and un-fucking the mess.

Which there's nothing wrong with, if that's what tingles your scrot'.

Heh gave me a good laugh. While no laughing matter people buy these with hard earned money and this is what you get.

Maybe there's a reason why Finland replaced all the wiring from some of the Soviet tanks.

Maybe it was done by Armasight?  Man they get around.  But no wonder you guys had to re-wire them.

"Comrade Inspector, this wiring for the Finnish tanks is shit.  Should I replace it?"

"Comrade electrician, nyet, I can't see anything wrong with it, from my desk.  Continue."

Depending on which era these tanks were from and how old they were when Finland refurbed them, it really wouldnt surprise me that they replaced it all regardless of who built it and where it came from.

Well there you go; anything will go to shit, if you wait long enough.  So why bother with QC, eh?  That seems to be a guiding precept in socialist countries.  Perfect is the enemy of good enough.

However, you could argue in this case that the life expectancy of an armored vehicle might be measured in weeks; so you will probably blow up before the wiring fails.  Problem solved, comrade.

In the mean time,

This would seem to be a big "aha" moment, for someone to crack open a device like this and reveal the shitty workmanship inside.  Yet no one has commented on it.  I find that curious.

I have read numerous threads about guys that buy cheap/used stuff from dubious sources, and about how it's just as good as the high-priced stuff.  Yet here is a guy who shows you what's inside one of these bargain brand units, and nobody has anything to say?

It could happen with any company if they “find a reason” to deny your warranty.

Just a random thought from a 39 year old who’s been bent over in the past even with “warranties”
