Bought a new house.  My Liberty Franklin 35 won't fit in the basement, and I really don't want to put it in the garage.

The new house has an enclosed room in the basement that would be a great gun vault.  So I need some suggestions about putting some sort of armored door on the entrance.  Nothing like a $6000 vault door, but something that will stop smash and grabs and keep the children away from the guns.  Any thoughts?  TIA

Grab a commercial exterior door/frame, rewall the gun room with 1/2 plywood instead of sheetrock.
