I'm considering selling my Garand and tried a few sites to get a value. Nada. Either you have to pay to join or they don't do M1's. I went on Gunbroker but seems all the Garands are Buy It Now. There is nothing listed right now with bids on it. Mine is from the CMP, purchased April 2013 and I've not fired it. Muzzle is a 1+, Throat is a 2. Grade is a GS and it is an HRA. Unfortunately looks like it has a new stock on it.



I'm just looking for what a reasonable asking price is for it.

On Gunbroker if you go to the advanced search and choose the "Completed " option you can type in your criteria for items that have sold.

You might check and see if it is a service grade special. Those will go for more. Some of those were collector grade rifles in new CMP stocks. They were sold about the time you purchased that rifle. If you don’t have the paperwork, you can tell if it is by all matching HRA parts in nearly new condition.

A service grade special will go for $1500-1800 if marketed well.

I did find the paperwork stuffed in the case with the certificate. It is a rm1hras, so unfortunately I don't think it is a special grade although the rifle looks brand new.
