Should I fo for one of these for 1800 or just save more for a pvs 14?

Nighttime shooting/hiking/stargazing intended.

$1800 either means "holy crap, FO NOW!!!"

or

that you're about to burn 1800 on something with tubes that are totally sketch.

It's really up to you to make sure that it's not scenario #2.

Thank you for the advice and insight. I have spec numbers directly off the unit provided via sellers ad and visible in picture.

Which number(s) should I check for legitimacy? (NSN, ID NO, CAGE #)

Anvis-6 are great. I have a set and prefer the Anvis-6 translating lenses over the Anvis-9. The set I have has very solid >1800 FOM GP Autogated tubes. One has a micro blemish in Z3, otherwise they’re crystal clear.

I use them as loaners for visiting Poors. The only thing they’re not good for are Nightfighter classes. Too fragile.

Or did I get it backward? When you turn the focus ring on the objective, the lenses on the 6 do NOT move / rotate.
