Was messing around with a new Scout Pro. Mount it fits pretty well alongside on the rail.

Don't see the A3 with the long/high military rail very often. Nice.
 I've seen other use a light as you are trying. I tried it, didn't like it at all. I just use a tape switch on the vert grip. |

I have a tire tube on the front grip in case I want to add the tape switch later on.

Any barrel shadow. What does it look like mounted on the top and on the left?

Little shadow. On top to the left it is in the way of the charging handle.

I have yet to find a satisfactory light solution so I might just settle for using the offset rail and deal with the shadow for now. I really wish they would come out with that extended 90° side rail already, that should have been the standard.
