I can't attest to these holding. Most of the people I know with 50's are using the 6 Screw Rings. I personally use the Burris Xtreme 6 Screw 30mm rings. They are approx $50 compared to the $130 for the ARMS. They're used on a State Arms (Highly Modified for Benchrest Competition) with a Steel 30 MOA Rail made by SA for me. They are holding a Nightforce NXS 8x32x56 Scope. I have had zero issue with these rings. I have a set of Badger Rings, also 6 Screw, but haven't found a reason to change. I didn't even have to lap the Burris Xtreme, they fit perfectly.
Hopefully, someone will the ARMS 22 Rings and be of more help. |

I've had Leupold Mk-IV rings on my AR-50 for 18 years and have never had an issue. One of the finest set of rings I've ever bought.
They were machined so nicely that they didn't need to be lapped. Scope has never moved, no screws have loosened and there's only 4 screws per ring and one cross bolt. I used theirs in super high because of the cheekrest and bolt needing to be high enough for everything to clear. Or else you'll need to do some trimming on the outer edge of the cheekrest to get it lower. |
