Personally It is the most "HEAVY DUTY" Bi-pod I have ever used...
Great pics ......you took.... I did how ever come up with a few improvements I think would be great...but who am I....... All in all, I bet you a C note you could set a full motor on it and it would hold..... SASS |

Thanks for sharing...nice set up......Where ever you were....all those big guns....looks like alot of fun...
If I may ask....is that an earlier model.....I noticed the bolt stop and also the muzzle break..... Again....Very Nice..... SASS |

SASS,
Yeah, my AR-50 is one of the earlier models with the machined muzzle brake (looks better on the rifle) and the bolt stop was replaced with a thumbscrew as were the screws for the buttstock. The first picture shows the newer designed Prince50 bipod but I also have the older style adaptor that Darin made for an M60 bipod. Knowing Darin is a plus as I got the "friend" discount, I also have the monopod that he makes for the AR-50 also. Those other big guns were from one of our desert shoots where we set up targets out to 2000 yards for the .50's. |

Yep...that is the APA....mono pod....it takes abit of getting used to....being I have never use one until now...but they do help and are top of the Heavy duty......

Did it come wrapped in that plastic bag? |
|
|
it is the Aim surplus stuff, we all just bought. Shoots good. I cleaned well after, just in case, but it looked good. Yes each box of ammo, was sealed in a heavy plastic bag. I will buy more if its available, when i can afford it. I paid less than $1.88 a round delivered. I bought 300, so the price break made it less. I also had a 1000 .223 on the order, which spread the shipping around a little.

I wish some of the custom paint jobs would post on here. I seen one that had a snake skin paint job that just looks bad ass. I looked into the water transfer stuff but not sure how durable it is.
Edited: found it. This guy did a better write up about how the 50 comes apart and has changed triggers Link to Snipershide website |

Is that the SS optic on top of it? Yes, it's the SS 16x42 model. Not the greatest but it gets the job done. Eventually I'd like to get a Nightforce for it. |

I put a Super Sniper on mine about ten years ago with intentionsof replacing it later on down the road. A decade later it's still there and I really see no reason to replace it. It's still getting the job done.

I had my friend cut it off in his machine shop then re coated it. Looks way better. That was the only thing i didnt like the look of.
