Pretty much nailed the pattern with the stencils. I’ve done a couple MC rifles and I actually prefer when you make the palette your own, so to speak. IIRC I posted one on LF many years ago. Used Aervoe Sand, Highlander, MC Green, light green (maybe?) and OD. Aervoe was awesome and held up well. Too bad that I’ve read it’s discontinued. I’ve got an OD rifle that I really want to tiger stripe.

Aervoe had some really awesome colors, don't know why they discontinued the military colors. |

I had a tan 300blk pistol that needed to go green since I'm I live in an East coast swamp. Base was krylon light green and then did some darker Green and earth brown through the Lau dry bag. And then topped it off with some spider web black graffiti paint.

I'm looking to finally rattle can this, and I have really been playing around with doing a DCU pattern, but frankly theres not a lot of examples or templates to follow. Has anyone here done DCU as a pattern?

After I stripped it years ago you couldn't tell I ever painted it except in some minor nooks. Granted it's been dropped onto concrete and blown up a couple times so maybe that hides the paint. |

Eh, it's not much more than some rash from the concrete and general wear from carrying it over 3 deployments.
