That's exactly what I want to do with it. My plan is to buy the rifle with iron sights and rock it like that for a while, but eventually switch to a Specter on a riser. I'm really excited for this rifle. Does anyone know when we can actually order them? |

No, but Cerakote holds up really well on grips. I had one done about four years ago and it still looks new. |

| I just heated it up and sprayed it with Brownells OD green alumahyde, it matches pretty much dead on. I’ve used it on multiple BCM grips, holds up pretty well so far, usually buy them in fde, I haven’t tried covering a black one. Still surprised BCM doesn’t make them in OD |

Got to an indoor range to test fire and check windage on the acog, really liking to feel of this kit, and the hg wasn’t bad as far as heat transfer, of course not like I could mag dump inside so I’ll have to see how that goes whenever I can get to an outdoor range.
