Will I need a booster for a 9mm AR pistol? Have an Omega 36m and an Armalite Ar-19 with a 9" barrel. Waiting on the muzzle brake/adapter.

A booster is only needed for guns that have a tilting or sliding barrel. It lets the suppressor 'float' as the slide unlocks, so the added mass of the can won't impede function.

If the barrel is fixed in place when the gun fires, it will not need a booster.

Thanks for the info. New to suppressors and wasn't sure what all I would need.
