Any update on if/when this will be a thing? Been wanting to do a SR25 DSR for a minute now.

We're going through a revision at the moment.
Will probably be early next year for a commercial release.

@Jack_L is there going to be a shorter QDC 762 suppressor released to the commercial market?

That is one of the possible new models.
But it's not the only one.

Who is this can for? The “existing” 7.62 DSR can is loooong and heavy anyway.

Who in the .gov? That I have no idea, but comparing the "existing" DSR to the CRS-PRG official specs-
7.9"/23.2 oz for the PRG and 5.75"/15oz for the older DSR...
I want one for maximum suppression in the smallest/lightest package possible, and I don't swap cans.

Not even .gov honestly, which consumer market? I don’t understand the target, unless SR30s aren’t dead.

Those specs read like you’re comparing to the DSR CQB. There was a full size DSR as well, offered on the SR30 DSR.

Which was for 300BLK, not SR25s... even if that suppressor were GTG on a 308 it wouldn't fit on an SR25 due to the 5/8 TP

My guess it would be for users of short (14.5/16") SR25s to maximize performance in the smallest possible envelope... like myself
