Just got my fourth Randall. It's Model 14 with a curved nickel hilt and a finger grooved handle, I went with a dealer so about seven month wait time.

It's also a Randall. That model is known as a Tom Clinton Special. The blade is double edged, wider and has nickel spacers and a curved hilt. It's usually only available through Tom Clinton who is an authorized Randall dealer, sadly he passed but his website is run by his son.

Very nice. I have a bit of an issue getting a good hold on that particular handle setup. The straight stag is no problem but the "butt end" (for lack of a better term) stag doesn't work real well for me.

This thread is suddenly relevant to my interests. I just put a deposit on a #25 5" yesterday.

(What's the hold up? Do these people think they're Botach or something?)

I love those "C" sheaths that come with the 14!
My next one is going to be a 16 Diver's knife with a saw/no saw blade profile. I'm trying to figure out a way to get the "C" sheath. Maybe buy a 14 with a 7.5" blade and profile it as a Diver?
I just received my model 3-7" last week and it is a beauty! I need to learn how to post pics, lol.

I think they serve their authorized dealers first, or something. I got my last two from Cpt. Stanaback nad the wait was only a few months. Although I waited about 9 months for my model 3 because pof covid.

I have to say that this is the most beautiful Randall Knife I have ever seen.
It will be handed down to my son.

I’ve bought several on EBay. There’s a seller there that always has better than a hundred or so. I just went back and checked, seller is sjjp. No relationship at all to me. Ive bought from him by using the “make offer” option as the posted prices are kind of high. I’ve been successful at between 10-20% below the listed price. YMMV.
