Was inspired by 11B3XCIB, so this is what turned out. I did get impatient and rushed but im happy the way it turned out.

Paint used


Flat black Base coat


Apply stencils (wax paper and painters tape)

Coat with the green in stripes


Coat with slate where there is no green


Apply more stencils


Coat slate over the green and green over the slate


remove stencils and coat with matte clear


finished product



Side project (Kid toy Ak)

Paint used
what ever colors where in the shed




Brown base coat


Insert toy in laundry bag paint strips with two different colors

Finished product

Thank you, kiddo and I had a great time. I would do a better job of making sure the stencils where not lifted on the edges. I would wait a day in between different coats of paint. Would let the paint set for a day before removing the stencils. I got inpatient and rushed did everything but the clear in one afternoon.
