Magpul. Ease of adding rails, sling QD points, cheek riser, and good looks.

FYI, you can buy a few versions of the 10/22 in the Magpul from the factory.

I like my magpul stock. I don’t love it though.

Adjustable lop and cheek riser sold me on it. No issues getting a good cheek weld with a 50mm scope objective. I’m 6’2” with long arms and it fits me great. I can take out the stock spacers and my kids can shoot it. It’s a good free float on my kidd lightweight barrel (not .920 once it gets to the aluminum sleeve). It does have flex in it though and might touch on a .920 bull barrel.

It’s above mid grade imo. It’s nowhere near the best stock out, but it isn’t in that price range either. It’s worth the money and I would buy it again if I had the choice to start over.

Get it and shoot it. Don't worry about changing it until you get to know the dam thing.

I had the Hogue Overmold stock on my suppressed 10/22 for years but recently switched to the magpul. I love the texture and feel of the Hogue. But true it's just not as versatile. I wanted to install a light was a major reason i switched. If you're not wanting to strap on a bunch of gadgets the Hogue is great and much cheaper. In fact i happen to know where you can find a used one in black
