Quoted: They're still happening, but with less frequency. And all it takes is one change on the ATF efile website and SS has to go spend a week or more fixing their software. ATF performs "maintenance" and "ipgrades every Saturday and Sunday. It doesn't take SS a week to implement the change. Now it seems to work as well on Monday as it did the week before. |

It has taken them a bit to get things fixed, all I'm saying is the ATF can make a change at any point and the full auto can need fixed to get it compatible again. I really like SS, Justin and those guys take great care of their dealers, I just think the e-file stuff has made using them more cumbersome than helpful. I buy all my inventory from them, and I hope they continue to be successful but I would rather submit my own forms than try and use their software. |

I was second guessing that up until I realized all the data entry I would be doing. |

Quoted: So, the horror stories about inputting data, getting to the submit stage, and it locks up, unless you're doing it at 3 AM, etc., are no more? Quoted: Quoted: I have not ran into any issues using the new system. It could be a little more polished. But it works. I do not have a print scanner. So I've mailed all my cards in. Overall it's a great improvement over the old system and paper. Takes 10 or 15 minutes to enter all the info. The longest part is finding the CLEO info for the transferee. So, the horror stories about inputting data, getting to the submit stage, and it locks up, unless you're doing it at 3 AM, etc., are no more? Apologies I'm just getting to reply. Yeah. Now I'm not doing one every day. Sometimes one, sometimes two a week. So not high volume by any means. And early evening is my main work time. But I've had no issues. |

Quoted: Does ATF approve eForms on Wed? I know the site is down that day but not sure if approvals go out. I filed 1/04. Seeing these approvals come in has me checking email all day haha Quoted: Does ATF approve eForms on Wed? I know the site is down that day but not sure if approvals go out. I filed 1/04. Quoted: I am a SOT dealer and the first Form 4 on Eforms I sent it was a close friend of mine. Long story short, he has a trust and did not date the RPQ paper (and I didnt check because I assumed he had enough sense to date it). Submitted it 1/4 and got the following email back "DISAPPROVED - INCOMPLETE FORM". My question is, does this mean I will have to completely resubmit the form 4, or is there a way I can just resend a dated RPQ paper? I cannot see anyway in eforms to get reupload it. Does the ATF refund the tax stamp on the disapproved submissions? It has been a week now and nothing is showing in my bank account as a refund. I would have assumed itd have been in there by now. |

Quoted: On the e-Form 4 tracking thread some people are posting fingerprints mailed or uploaded. Please indicate SS software or not. Thanks. Why does that even matter? Submitted date to approval date shouldn’t be different based on submitter. I see zero reason to isolate one dealer from all the rest. All the additional delays that their certification/etc process causes has no impact on the actual ATF wait time. |

All the additional delays that their certification/etc process causes has no impact on the actual ATF wait time. Not isolating one dealer, as they have the only software game in town. I'm still curious whether dealers who manually e-file get faster approvals than dealers who e-file using SS software, slower approvals, or it ends up being the same. My guess is the latter. The only way to know is by doing what I suggested. |

When you place an order through Silencer Shop, you are actually purchasing from the dealer you select. |

Quoted: We've done more than a few Silencer Shop Full Auto eform 4; literally nothing different other than Silencer Shop's software macro filling in the fields. Quoted: Quoted: Yeah, lots of people saying that. I'm just asking "show me the money". They’re asking because Silencer Shop claims to have stamps coming back… but there’s no first hand feedback of it. I filed through SS 1-15-22 and still nothing. Yet I’ve seen independent dealers get stamps back from before and after that date. |

Quoted: I’m just stating why people are asking. I personally don’t think the AFT throttles SS applications. Quoted: Quoted: Man you dudes are some paranoid, tin-hat wearing people. I’m just stating why people are asking. I personally don’t think the AFT throttles SS applications. I don't think ATF intentionally"throttles" anything. Thus my request should have bothered no one. At least a few people are smart enough to see why I asked. |

Quoted: @SilencerShop Can you please tell us the dates/range you've received stamps from? Or are these just claims and more lack of transparency? Silencer Shop won't know if there are approved eform 4s unless the dealers or customers tell them. There is an exception: if there are eform 4s they've submitted for local customers (if they still do that). |

Quoted: Unless they look at my approved forms when I'm preparing a transfer, I'll have to watch when I do another. I don't see how they would know without customers providing feedback. I understand that. But they released an email and video making those claims. That’s why I think it’s disingenuous and asked them for clarification. My issue with SS through this whole process has been their lack of transparency and communication. |

Quoted: Silencer Shop won't know if there are approved eform 4s unless the dealers or customers tell them. There is an exception: if there are eform 4s they've submitted for local customers (if they still do that). Which is why I said let's note on the tracking thread dealer used Full Auto or not. No different than noting paper or digital fingerprints. Dogtown has even noted that distinction. I never imagined that he thought ATF was intentionally slowing down submissions with digital prints. |
|
Quoted: Yeah, lots of people saying that. I'm just asking "show me the money". Quoted: Quoted: The Silencer Shop software has absolutely no bearing on approvals. Yeah, lots of people saying that. I'm just asking "show me the money". ATF doesn't know if the dealer used the SS Full Auto software to upload the draft and certify. Once ATF emails the customer and dealer that the Form 4 is "Submitted/In Process" there is nothing in the ATF system that shows anything to do with Silencer Shop because they are not involved at that point. |

Quoted: They’re asking because Silencer Shop claims to have stamps coming back… but there’s no first hand feedback of it. I filed through SS 1-15-22 and still nothing. Yet I’ve seen independent dealers get stamps back from before and after that date. <-----I've received a eForm 4 for a customer that was a Silencer Shop silencer. Silencer Shop doesn't submit the eForm 4, their Full Auto software only uploads a draft to ATF eForms. The dealer is the one who subnits. |
|
Quoted: I don't think ATF intentionally"throttles" anything. Thus my request should have bothered no one. At least a few people are smart enough to see why I asked. I've always thought ATF gave preference to Silencer Shop paper Form 4's, they always seemed to get approved weeks faster than the ones I prepared. |
|
Quoted: @SilencerShop Can you please tell us the dates/range you’ve received stamps from? Or are these just claims and more lack of transparency? At the risk of once again being accused of "white knighting" for Silencer Shop........... Silencer Shop is not the transferee or transferor. They don't receive the stamp. |
|
Quoted: Yet they released a video saying they have been getting approved for 4’s back. Seems disingenuous. https://m.youtube.com/watch?__s=pxntp0k05l5jllug4ed5&v=_DQbqlMagiY&feature=youtu.be What's "disingenuous" is you inventing your own narrative, one not supported by the video in your link. |
|
Quoted: ![]() Please…… No. Just stop before your credibilty completely disappears. You wrote "Yet they released a video saying they have been getting approved for 4’s back" That's simply not true. In a lame assed attempt to discredit Silencer Shop you lied about the content of a video. We get it, your dealer fucked you and you are mad. |
|
Quoted: ![]() Please… These threads speak for themselves. The results speak for themselves. Keep white knighting… These threads don't speak for themselves. There's a handful of you with dumb ffl's that can't figure this out and tons more of us that had good transactions. |

I said nothing about posting WHO made the submission. I asked that people note whether or not THEIR DEALER used SS Full Auto software. |

Quoted: You my friend didn't even read my post before replying. I said nothing about posting WHO made the submission. I asked that people note whether or not THEIR DEALER used SS Full Auto software. I absolutely read it. I still think it’s a waste of time and effort. But if people want to include an extra line of data, it’s not like I’m going to go through and edit all the posts to remove it. The error in my post is using the word “dealer” when referring to Silencer Shop. |
|
Quoted: Then please tell me what is wrong with my suggestion. Why do you have any issue with it at all? I'm with Big Waylon on this. Once you receive the email from ATF saying your Form 4 is "Submitted/In Process".......it doesn't matter one bit how you got that far. Its as useless as trying to track approvals by caliber or brand. |
