That's my guess, but I've heard of people getting approvals on Sunday nights so who knows.

Submitted 5/11. Have been reading that there is a minimum 70 day waiting period now. Any truth to that?

Eform1
Sent 2-25 Approved 5-16 No email sent to me yet but approved on the eforms web page. |

Actually wonder if what state your in has a bearing? Or type of trust?
Maybe just completely random I assume. |
|
|
From what I've been hearing it's not random. The people who screw them up are getting them back faster than the people who do them right the first time.

Eform1 Sent 2-25 Approved 5-16 No email sent to me yet but approved on the eforms web page. Just checked Eforms after seeing you got yours. Mine was approved too!! The first two months flew by but the last 3 weeks took forever. Sent 2-25 Approved 5-16 80 days total *Edit: I did not get a notification email. |
|
|
I got the email this morning.
eFile Form 1, Trust, SBR Submitted: 2/27/15 Approved: 5/18/15 80 days BUT, it has a DRAFT watermark on the PDF, so I'm waiting for them to fix that. Sent a note via "Ask the Experts". I'll give that a couple of days and if it isn't fixed, I'll email Mr. Clutter. As a point of reference, two Form 1 suppressors came back in 31 and 32 days last fall. I think the 41P panic is creating a backlog. |

Yeah, sadly that is the case. Originally I was told I was going to be put back inline, which I would have been fine with as I didn't have any parts - nor do I now. But they approved mine. My total time from first app to approved was about 14 days.' The stamp ended up costing me $400 - which again, not happy with but it was my fault |

I would of been fine waiting the 75 days and paying once, lol. I was told I'd be put back inline where I was, which I said would be perfect. Instead it got approved. |

I was hoping it was still down to a month, I'll be submitting my first in a week or two.

How do you know when your Efile goes "pending"?
I submitted mine on 5/14 and while Im not expecting it to get approved anytime soon, I always see people saying "went pending on xyz". Mine just says "submitted / in process" when I check it. edit - after a little research, apparently "submitted / in process" is the same as "pending" sorry. |

Submitted/In Process is the eForms equivalent of Pending. With a paper form, you have to call and check. With eForms, you see where it is by logging in and checking. |

View Quote I emailed Ted Clutter yesterday afternoon and got an email less than 10 hours later with a fixed Form 1 signed by Mr. Clutter with the approval date changed to 5/19. That man is one of the bright spots within an otherwise problematic agency. |

I have seen and heard of other guys with staggered dates on multiple forms having them approved all together, but I had no such luck. I had one submitted on 2/23 and one on 3/19. The 2/23 got approved but they didn't bundle them together like I was hoping. Oh well. So now I've got at least another month, if not 6 weeks.
I did see on NFAtracker someone had a 3 or 4 day approval very recently |
|
was hoping to get the stamp before memorial day - not going to hold my breath. Now fingers crossed for the July 4th weekend.
Submitted 3/5 - |

Can we post some dates that are getting approved? I don't need to know the dates that haven't been approved.
|
|
NFATRACKER.COM has reports and graphs to show current wait time. Just select the Approved date column to sort by the ones approved and not approved.

+1 NFATracker is a nice tool and I check it frequently but they have just about the worst interface possible. It's almost unusable. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

That's what the Download as XLS button is for. It's about the only way I look at the data. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
