Form 1 mailed 01/03.

Check cashed 01/09.

Still nothing.

I think my wife dropped the dime on me:  Asked them to delay, since she knows I'll be spending $$$ building a SBR upper once it comes back!!!

My most recent, was 34 days, Think it got approved mid january.  My one from August took ~38 days. Both E-form 1's, but my form 4 transfer took forever. I forget exactly how long, but it was roughly 6 months.

I filed one 3/13 for an SBR.  That was a Friday and on the following Tue I had an email asking about the lower being a "manufacturered" lower or if I was also making the lower. (It's an 80% lower). I replied that I was also making the lower and the next day my form went "pending".  We'll see how long it takes.

Well, it was approved on 4/2, but with a draft watermark. It took until today to get it straightened out, and it took sending two emails.

62 days from submission to a clean form 1.

Has anyone ever applied for a few stamps weeks apart and had them all approved on the same day? I'm guessing it would probably happen whenever the first submission is approved.

They did that early on in Spring 2014 for a brief period. Batch processing whenever the first one came due. Haven't seen anybody report it being done since the system came back up.

Looks like the wait is up to around 60 days now.

The last three I did took around 40 days.

It's for sure slowed down though.  Because the last suppressor I did took 2 days to go from pending research to submitted.   The current suppressor I put in for didn't get out of pending research for 12 days.  Backlog is compiling.

I see nothing to indicate you shouldn't have an answer within the next 5 days or so.

However, without seeing the form itself, no way to say you should expect your Approval soon...you might be getting a Disapproval soon.

For someone who is filing a Form 1 as an individual not in a trust...how long can I expect to wait? And is there anyway of knowing that the ATF has received my Form and payment? Sorry guys, this is my first one.

I think they're running 6+ months still. It'll have to be a paper form, as you can't use EForms.

Write a check. When it clears (look for the $200, not the check number), you'll know they're working on it. You could also send it with a tracking number so you know when it's delivered.

nfatracker.com will give you an idea of the timeframes...just look for F1s that have a "no" under eFiled.

Yes, and no.

Those are mine. But, they were worked because of an error. Special conditions, and unexpected.

Thanks that helps a lot. I apologize if this has been covered numerous times, but what more would I need to do if I wanted to file it as a trust and use the Efile version? Does it cost more than the standard $200?

Well, just filed for 2 SBRs last night. Getting into the NFA game for the first time.

But how long does it take them to charge the $200 to your credit card?
