The current Aim Surplus ad shows surplus boxer primed .30-06 ammunition with 150 grain FMJ bullets in cloth bandoleers, 192 rounds for $120.  Does anybody know if this stuff is any good?  Or where it came from?  Or when?

With thanks.

This?

No idea but it says sold out so it probably doesn't matter.

When a vendor doesn't state the country of manufacture or show the headstamp they are hiding it for a reason. When you see ammo selling cheap, there is a reason

But AIM does have new Garand-appropriate PRVI for 13.95 per box. That works out to be six cents a round pricier than the surplus stuff above. No clips include, but it's surely better ammo.

Based on the writing on the bandolier in the photo I think it’s Israeli.

Were Ethiopians given M1 Garands in the '50s or '60s?

Was Ethoipia ever a NATO member (or client state)?

Might be a clue as to how good that ammo is.
