After 2+- years I am going to finish my Aero Precision M5/308.
Please suggest the following
Handguard

Charging handle

Back up iron sights

Bolt carrier group I am fond of Nickel boron, yet open to suggestions.

Please suggest away
Thanks in advance

I do like the AP Breach charging handle, however if you are suppressed you might consider the radian SD.

I like the nickel boron and the nitride AP BCG’s
The nitrated one does seem to clean up carbon easier.

A good Ballistic Advantage premium is a nice addition to an M5 with AP parts (for tolerance stacking and quality purposes)
Personally I like their fluted barrels, I know some don’t like flutes.

Haven’t tried their iron sights.

What optic are you going to put on there?  I don't even bother with buis on scoped guns anymore.

Aero makes a good handguard, they have 1.75" internal dimension handguards for tucking a suppressor as well as slim handguards.  I prefer Aim Sport for cost/quality.

I don't put much thought into charging handles, milspec is fine.

BCG's are all over the map as far as cost and finishes; microbest, toolcraft, cryptic, etc.  Flip a coin.

Stainless steel and flutes Are like a mixture of Cialis, Viagra and Tri mix all at the same time LOL.
AP  no makes make a 16" fluted stainless steel barrel
So I opted for this
Ballistic Advantage Premium Series .308 Hanson w/ LO Pro Threaded Barrel .
ETA
It is highly doubtful if it will ever be suppressed
Optics are a few years out. I like irons

If going irons only, I wouldn't do flip ups.

For the price of a good set of fixed irons he could get a Primary Arms 3x microprism and use the rifle the way God intended.

How does Aero rank on parts quality? I needed an H1 Buffer so I grabbed an Aero one and one of their whoops! Small parts kits from PA as they were dirt cheap on sale. The finishing looked good but the delrin bumper looked ghetto. Haven't shot it yet.

I have found AP/ BA to be excellent.  Go to parts for many.
