I measured and counted the threads but before I order a drill bit and tap is the rear stock sling screw thread a 12-28? Sorry for asking but the prints are not on the site I used to look at them. I have a few of the old Tapco stocks that I want to tap and change the sling swivel to the correct screw threading. There was a really discounted sale on the odd thread pattern screw at cheaperthandirt  so I am set for them I just don't remember the thread pattern.

12-28 is what I see listed.

I cannot confirm / deny accuracy.
