I recently got a bunch of Winchester USA Ready 223 Rem 62gr OT ammo and was surprised to see copper colored primers in it. I thought Winchester primers were all brass?

It seems to run ok, not the most accurate stuff in the rifles I have shot it in, but better than Wolf or Tula. I mainly got it for the brass as I have a bolt gun that loves Winchester brass, but the primer has me wondering if it is the same Winchester brass as others or if this is produced elsewhere and imported? I know there is dome Swedish made Winchester ammo out there, but this stuff looks different than that.

I have a Palmetto AR that has turned in some good groups using it but as you mentioned this is definitely not the same stuff made in Sweden. It should do great for you reloading.
