I thought they stopped selling "assault rifle" ammunition.  Local Walmart had three boxes of Winchester white box 7.62x51mm M-80 ball on the shelf this morning (the ONLY ammo on the shelf).

Agree.  Its .308 "deer rifle" ammo, not scary tactical black rifle ammo.

Stupid virtue signaling doesnt logically meld well with selling products.

Except it isn't. Obviously the distinction was lost on them...

Assuming the boxes were sitting over the correct label, $21 and change.

I have given up looking for ammo at Walmart. I am convinced the employees snatch up anything and re-sell it to the neckbeards & FUDD's.

I mean, here in Tampa there is nothing.

The only thing our local wm constantly has is 28 ga shotshells and 350 Legend. Other than that, it’s a matter of being there when it gets out on the shelf.

I always swing by the ammo counter if I go there, especially in this market.

Only place I can reliably find the slugs that do best for me, and cheap birdshot.

“Military caliber” is obviously lost on them when they still have x51, 45-70, 12ga, 30-06, etc. You’d think they wouldn’t sell musket caps either.

Pretty sure I had recently seen some ridiculously over priced 223.
