Does anyone have any data regarding the velocity of this cartridge out of a 12.5” 1/7 barrel specifically, or at least closely related barrel lengths?

Magtech 77gr. OTM

Not specifically the Magtech (great load), but a couple other Mk.262-ish loads tested out of a variety of barrels here.  12.5" is the third test-set down IIRC.  Might give you an idea.  Mid to high 2500's seems right.

That isn’t bad at all for a 12.5. Good stuff.

Out of my 12.5, BA pipe.
The magtech 77gr  ( mk 262 clone ) runs around 2429 to to 2500 FPS, temp dependent.
Last time i was out it was about 60 degrees F, the was average was 2490.7 FPS.
It's on par with the IMI mk 262 clone, and shoots about the same POA,
Seems to be 0.1 mil offset vertically with the AR bagged on a bench more or less. I have not tested them round robin.

A bit off topic, but are the 168g .308 offerings from IMI and Magtech equal in quality/performance to their 77g 5.56 bullets given their respective calibers? Basically do they frag at distance?

Mike Snyder on Instagram posted this a little while ago. I saved it because he was using the same barrel I have with the same ammo. From his 12.5” the Magtech 77gr was averaging around 2440.

have tested it out of two Criterion Hybrid 12.5" units and come in right at 2550.  that is at 1200 ft elevation and 35-40 degrees.

No.  I fired a few hundred rounds of Magtech 168gr an it grouped no better than 2.5 inches (5 rounds) at 100yds out of rifles that are usually 1 inch or better shooting FGGM or Black Hills (AR-10 w\20" Mega barrel and an older Remington 700VLS in an AICS).  Their M80 was around 4 inches at 100yds, so not bad for M80....those rifles hate lighter bullets.
