 How about picture thread for your FRT equippedFirearms. 8.5" 300 blkout with SS and G SSA-E trigger. Taurus TX22 with FFT trigger and 9mm suppressor. So far I cannot get this gun to run with any 22 suppressor but it really likes 9mm cans. This is probably my favorite to shoot right now. Red dot sight coming soon, I just need to figure out which one I want. Those of you with a tx22 what sights are you running? |

This one is really the most FRTy of my FRT guns. I call it my IAR, as it's built to actually be useful in FRT mode, rather than being a 3rd position on an "infantry rifle."  " />I think I'm going to replace the Aimpoint with a prism optic of some kind. I just bought a 3x Primary Arms, and I'm blown away by the quality. I think a 1x Prism would be a great optic for a gun like this. |

I fired three D60 drums through this thing to test reliability through sustained bursts. Two of them were immediately one after the other. The RC2 got HOT. Since the lower from my HK91 parts fits my MKE AP5 (MP5 clone), I would think the LS5 lower would fit a HK93 clone. They all seem to work with parts from each other. I imagine you'd want to place the ejector for the HK93 into the lower. The LS lower comes with an ejector and I need to see if my HK ejector will fit it. If you are / were local, we could give it a try. If it doesn't fit, you could sell it quickly for what you have into it. All of them have a 6 week lead time. |

I tried the slip trip on my OG hk51 and while the geometry was good the “legs” of the trip were too short to work. They’d need to be cut and extended I believe. As for the AP53 after reading ASD comment on the carrier and comparing it to mine I’m at a loss…. Now if someone has a 53 carrier that somehow fits an AP53 then I think the solution is similar to the 51 I mentioned above.But I’m not an engineer, and I didn’t sleep at a HI Express last night. |

I originally ordered a "complete" 3D printed Leber V2 lower from Harrison Gun Works (HGW). Mine was a POS and broke 3x. I super glued it back together. While I did get it fire in SS mode, I was not happy with the quality of the 3D printing. I'm pretty sure Harrison got a Cease & Desist letter from Rare Breed and stopped selling Super Safeties at the time. To get that HGW complete 3D printed lower to work I needed a Super Safety, a Slip Trip, and a rounded hammer. Full size complete SS lowers generally come with a standard AR15 hammer and a tube buffer that goes over the recoil spring. My AP5 chewed up that tube buffer within a couple rounds fired. The standard AR15 hammer was riding on the rear of the bolt carrier, even with the tube buffer in place, slowing everything down. Using a rounded hammer allows you to discard that tube buffer. At the time Warhammer was the only company offering an over priced rounded hammer. I fooled around with a dremel trying to round my hammer, gave up, and ordered the Warhammer rounded hammer. Note get the $20 rounded hammer from here instead: Polymer Pew The HGW 3D printed lower came with an extra long safety detent spring. I needed a standard AR15 safety detent spring which I pulled out of one of my LPK's. If you order a stripped LS lower or AS Designs lower you will need some of the parts (hammer spring, trigger spring, safety detent spring, disconnector and spring, trigger & hammer pins) out a of a lower parts kit. I have 2 AR15's with AS Designs Super Safeties in them.
