I can't recommend this product. I just broke my 2nd 3D printed lower at the front push pin hole. https://harrisongunworks.com/product/mp5-leber-v2-lower-housing-assembly/  This breakage happened twice now when I pull the lower off the upper. As ugly as the aluminum Lee Sporting Lower is, at least it won't break at the front push pins. Tyler at Harrison Gun Works is great. He replaced my 1st broken receiver at no charge. He was also quick to respond to my emails. If you have your own 3D printer and can print these out for next to nothing, go for it. Buying one and waiting for it arrive only to have it break on you doesn't make sense. Does it work if you can get it on and off your gun without breaking it? Yes. This breakage happened when I accidentally pulled the trigger screwing with the super safety and the lower out of the gun.  Super Glue and a wood working clamp fixed it. I'm currently Super Gluing the the plastic on to the front push pin hole. I don't have a high opinion of 3D printed gun parts. Too fragile and not "weapons grade." But what about the rebels in Myanmar using 3D printed guns to fight the government? Those are drop guns. They pick up something better as soon as they can. This shit is worse than Airsoft gun parts. |

Did they ever tell you what material they print these out of? The two places you had major breaks are really the weakest link areas of the design, namely areas with thin walls and low layer-to-layer surface area which is where FDM prints always suffer. Certain materials are better for layer adhesion, which would be a big plus here but it will always be a "tender" area. |
| I have three leber v2 lowers from blambprints.com. One is a shelf lower and the other two are push pins (Zenith and POF). I've assembled and disassembled all the guns multiple times and have had zero issues with any of them. I don't know if you got a bad run but mine have all been great and I'll continue buying them for my 5.56 HKs once the trip situation is worked out. |

I will continue to say Tyler at Harrison Gun Works is 1st class. I sent him the picture of the 2 broken receivers and told him I ordered a Lee Sporting lower. His response: "Geez, that's not awesome. Sorry that happened man. I am working on overhauling the lower right now and part of it will be a metal insert for the front pin, and for the shelf in front of the hammer." |

As an aside, the AK FRTs he sells are prone to breaking the trip bar. He wouldn’t replace it or sell a replacement…same as the one DNT offers. |

| I am having the same issue with the pin hole breaking, different manufacture but same break. This last replacement is with a shelf style, no front pins. Either this or a metal piece for the pin hole will likely be the cure. Now if this one works without locking up like my first two I will be in business. |

I have a bunch of AR FCGs and purchased several of the blem SS from DNT and assembled them myself. He does sell all the parts you need though so you could probably get it all for under 300, or just buy the lower and swap the parts. If someone does do a metal insert for the push pin it would be great, the shelf lowers have the metal insert protruding to support it in the receiver. |

Well glad I never got to replacing my Lee lower. Was told by many that bough the leber how much better it was then the lee I bought Sept 2024 with all the frt stuff. I'm still running all 1st gen frt stuff in it and it is still not exploded/failed/ruined/ my SP5, the lower, or SS that the internet said would happen. Hopefully for you guys that have these lebers he works out a fix. How many will he replace before you have to pay for another leber replacement? Guess I'll leber it alone and stick with my lee.  |

They were stripped and I modified dirty bird flat faced nickel fcgs and rounded my own hammers. So not counting the fcg or hammers as I had them already in parts. 50 for the SS and 300 for metal lower and ejector with no failures yet? Yeah that’s a good deal I’d say. I have two guns with Harrison Gun Works lowers - First one I got from his first production run works and runs, no cracks even with lots of use. The second one broke in two places almost immediately and he replaced it - I have a feeling something happened in the later batch |

But Im not a MP5 purist and if I was I would've bought a SP5 not a MKE. I wanted a better trigger and the Lee was a good option. Shit, I even have a jmac stock adapter and a Sig MCX folding stock. Its an abomination. |

Update. My aluminum stripped Lee Lower came in. I swapped most of the parts over from the Leber V2 to include the rounded Warhammer hammer, AS Designs SS, & Grey Market Research Slip Trip. I planned on using a standard Magpul MOE grip but it didn't seem like the beaver tail on the grip would fit the Lee lower. I used an A2 grip instead. Just to make it extra ugly looking. The fit of the lower to the upper was super tight and I had to use a mallet to tap the brace on.  1st mag, dry gun, dirty from shooting suppressed - double feed.  I shot some CLP into the mag well with the bolt closed. Also shot some CLP on the bolt with the bolt locked open through the ejection port. Then manually worked the action. Next 6 mags ran perfectly in SS mode.

Lee lower is the way. It’s bomb proof. Attached File The Magpul grip will fit if you take a little material off with a file. (See my pic above.) They make that lower to work with a K grip which makes it look pretty homely. Mine has performed great with the Super Safety. Glad you finally got it working. |
