I'm in the same boat with ya. Building my first .308 so I wanted to keep everything Aero to minimize issues, but no uppers. I've got the lower built and stocked, but I've been stuck at that point for a while now. I'm not averse to building the upper itself, but I'm struggling to find a barrel.

I'm sorry to hear that, man! I haven't looked at much .308 stuff lately, but I was hoping that maybe those components would at least be a little more prevalent out there than their 5.56/.223 counterparts... I guess not.
The parts market just SUCKS these days. With all the crazy panic buying, there's just nothing available anymore, and it's a real shame. I know that manufacturers don't want to ramp up production because they're worried that the demand will fall off again and they'll get screwed, but it's just sad to have to search for weeks to find each little part for a rifle platform that's so wildly popular in this modern age of technological advancement and internet sales. The situation is creating a free-for-all with the price gougers on sites like Gunbroker. LMT enhanced BCGs going for $1,000+ and Aero upper receivers with "Buy It Now" prices of $400. It's insane. The other night I got excited because I found ONE site with an 11.3" BA barrel in stock, but then I noticed that it was listed at $399.95. I actually emailed the company to ask whether it was a typo or if they were truly asking for such a ridiculous markup above the $210 MSRP. I doubt I'll hear back from them...
I hope you find what you're looking for soon so you can finish your build, bud. I wish I had a spare .308 barrel so I could help you out! My one piece of advice is that if you've signed up for in-stock notifications from Aero, don't stop checking the product page on their website for the item you want as often as you can. Just in the last week I saw an upper receiver that I wanted (and signed up for notifications on) that came back in-stock on their website TWICE while I was looking at the page, and I never got a notification email from them about it. I was lucky enough to snag them each time, but I would have never even known about it if I hadn't been checking the page obsessively. These are the times we're living in, unfortunately...
