Congratulation! Nice impressive rig.
Could we have some ballistics information out to 500yds?
Are you not worried about confusion with the 458 Socom round - your case is only 0.04" longer
Thanks

How fast does it launch that Barnes ttsx?

Pretty impressive. I’d like to see external & terminal ballistics overlaid with the SOCOM on the same chart. That’d show whether the juice is worth the squeeze of buying a one-off AR pattern.

At roughly $12.50 per fps gained over the SOCOM, it’s a joke.  I promise you, the SOCOM blows up pumpkins, busts concrete blocks, and kills game just as dead and within the same ranges as the so called HAM’R.    Does 200 fps really give you anything more than bragging rights?   I can still whip the snot out of the HAM’R with my 1895 .45-70 or Ruger #1 .45-70 and have over two thousand bucks left over (of course the same can be said for the SOCOM).  In fact, I could buy three ready built .458 SOCOMs or build 4 for the price of the HAM’R.  And be able to buy any replacement part I needed, except for the bolt, at any place that sells AR parts, and bolts are not hard, nor expensive to find either.

Right!? I'd rather have 9 MAGS of 5.56 that 20 rounds of this

I have managed to get over 3000 ft-lbs from a 450 Bushmaster.

Imagine if they had made 450 Bushmaster on the 30 RAR barrel extension and bolt (rather than a standard AR-15 extension and standard bolt with enlarge bolt face) and run the pressure up to the same as 30 RAR of 55,000 psi.  Now that would be a hammer...

Want big & heavy in an AR - look at the .416 Spike.

Want big & heavy in an AR - look at the .416 Spike. Sorry, I don't know how to remove a duplicate post.

Seems like a solution to a problem that never existed. A few will go with this for some fringe bragging rights.
