Got tired of my Magpul QD sling swivel clanking up against the castle nut (have a receiver plate QD socket).
Couldn’t find any QD swivels that had the rubberized / plastic coating on them. Cut a 2 1/2” piece of 2” black elastic I found in the wife’s sewing box and sewed the ends together and slid over the sling swivel. Seems to function as it should and the annoying clanking against the castle nut is gone. Not to bad for WECSOG. Of course open to any other suggestions as well.  Attached File |
