So, as most will recall, the FBI adopted these a while back.

I’ve been curious and started looking around, but I can’t really find any reviews or useful information about the 4M. Lots of hate for “chinese junk”, but supposedly these are built in the US?

Anyway, it looks like they are no longer made by Sig. Anyone know what the FBI replaced them with?

I was toying with the notion of buying one to compare it with my Aimpoint, but nobody sells them anymore...

Thanks!

4M was built in the US, as are the 4H, 4S and 4T.

The 4S and 4T replaced the 4M.

I picked up a 4H recently but I can't say too much about it since I haven't had a chance to take it out yet. Seems well built and has some nice features.

Huh.

The “compare” feature on Sig’s website is essentially useless. Near as I can tell, the 4S and 4T are identical except for price.

The T is apparently made from 7075 aluminum which is pretty rare for an optic.  I can’t remember what else but will try to find the reference.

Other government agencies and military have adopted the Romeo as well. It’s legit

If anyone is interested, at the Shot Show, the Sig guys told me that the FBI now uses the Romeo 4T...
