Unfortunately, I had to remove the original carriage studs to rescue the trunnion from the trashed sheet metal and to install the trunnion in the new receiver. IIRC, the studs were the same diameter as the barrel retaining pins. In my zeal to make as much of the receiver as Cadillac Gage as possible and to look as correct as possible, I used two original barrel retaining pins for the carriage studs. IIRC, they are a standard diameter and easy enough to replicate for clones. |

The rear sight assy. is one of those needed parts. Gunbroker is best chance for parts and sources for parts.
