I took advantage of the blackfriday sale at Primary Arms and bought a SOLGW bcg.
Had never heard of this company or Sionics, till I read some post on another forum
about Primary Arms recently becoming a retailer for their products.
There was a Halloween sale, SOLGW uppers and bcg sold fast.
I missed out and decided I would atleast get a bcg during the next sale opportunity.
Haven't had a chance to try this bcg out yet, probably won't for another
month or so, but looking at it overall and the spec sheet, it looks like a high quality piece
for the money. Paid about $120 shipped.
For those of you that have been running them, how are they holding up?

The SOLGW BCG’s should be good to go.  IIRC, they are made by Microbest, same as BCM BCGs.

I have one on my 1st build, no issues but after discovering $70 AO Precisions from RightToBear, I won't pay big $$$ for branded ones again.

I agree on paying $150 plus for a BCG.

Primary arms has them around $109-115 on sale.  I am happy to pay that premium for better components and quality.  They use Sprinco extractors and OACKS screws now i believe

Finally went and used the bcg yesterday in a Andro 10.3 upper.
Worked great, bcg shows no wear at all after 100rds.
GTG, will be buying more.

Better components and quality than AO and Toolcraft?

You mean Sprinco extractor spring? And what is OACKS screws?

I would say yes. Better QC and the springco 5 coil extractor spring is a nice upgrade. That and the Colt gold one are all I try to use

See This comment on the screws. They are a nice little upgrade as well

I could be wrong but it doesnt appear that op's carrier has OCKS screws.

The "yfs" screws commonly seen on many carriers are made in China. OCKS are U.S. made. Besides that the design is simple but ingenius for ensuring a secure staking, they should be standard on all quality carriers.
