Anyone using these? Just looking for a standard, MILSPEC BCG. Mostly I've been using Toolcraft and Colt, thought I'd see what else Arfcom likes. |

You could buy a Toolcraft or Microbest but you also might get something that was or would be rejected by QC at another company. If it works, maybe the machining is rough so gas rings will wear out quickly. Maybe it has really loose tolerances but works because the barrel is overgassed and can handle gas leaks. Maybe you get something that's perfectly fine. Again, it's not that the above companies can't produce a lemon, but you're more likely to get a high quality product. Just off the top of my head, Microbest in particular has had QC problems for a couple years. |

A SOLGW BCG is a Microbest that they then proof test and put through their QA/QC process. |

There's an SOLGW employee here who's said that they haven't used barrels manufactured by Ballistic Advantage for years even though people still repeat it. Maybe I misunderstood what you were saying, but a lot of people equate physical manufacturing facility with quality. |

He has said it on multiple Primary and Secondary modcasts and other podcasts that he’s been on. I also completely agree with what you are saying , just because one oem makes something for company y it doesn’t mean it’s the exact same product as company x. It depends on what both companies are willing to pay for the specs they want and the qa/qc. @SOLGW_jim want to settle this debate |
