Pretty sure the XM or the DS series caps will work, as long as it isn't the Fury DFT - see : https://www.bigtexoutdoors.com/surefire-scout-tailcap-tape-switch-product-guide/
Also - depending on which Thorntail, there MIGHT have a clearance issue, see - http://hudsongravity.com/2016/06/23/surefire-scout-ds-dual-switch/ I didn't have this issue with my Thorntail and DS-SR07, based on the final position of the tailcap when threaded in fully, but if it is an issue, easy fix. |

DS will not work as it is for E-series threads. XM will work.
