Is the Surefire M952V with FM54 red filter eye safe for elderly at close range 5 feet or less? Not sure about this old one.

How much eye exposure to IR and White light with FM5 filter beam would result in eye damage at 5 feet or less?.

Thanks in advance!

I would not point any high power light or laser in someone/ your face, ever.

The only powerful mode on that light is white light at 150 lumens (the newer scout models are 350, but I highly doubt you have one if you're asking this question). It's nowhere near as damaging as a full power IR laser. Uncomfortable, sure.
