I will wait on the shake awake. I don't care if it is $200, it is worth it to me.

At absolute highest it will chew up the battery much quicker. At a medium setting yes it will last 50K. Also sounds like you had first Gen of pushbutton model with auto on auto off. That circuit takes power. It is recommended to turn it off for long term storage when not in use. It could also have been defective. If you still have it I would be glad to take a look. That all said this is why we did not put auto on auto off with this model. This is a completely new design and the new emitter is super bright and super efficient. You don't need it!!!!! |

You don't need it with the new illumination technology. We will be adding it to the ACSS version because the larger illuminated area takes much more power. |

In theory, you could leave it on 24/7 on the 50k setting and it should last 5.7 years.
I chart/ list on my safe door that has a date that I need to change the battery on each optic. I change them every two years automatically unless it’s a fun gun. |

Instead of seeing the dot floating on the target with a bit of shadow surrounding it from the optic body, you get a dark shadow over the target with the dot floating inside. Not impossible to use, but not ideal either. It definitely makes it hard to see details of the target. View Quote This is my issue. Make a $300-400 t2 competititor. I want to buy this so bad. But past experience with pa and other red dots tell me itll be lacking thru nods. Thats my only issue, I love them during the day. Just need all guns to be dual role. |

Can the mount be purchased separately? I need that mount for my other dots. T1 footprint, right? The standard AR riser would make a mini RDS sit at absolute cowitness height?

I would have to check with engineering on the height but this would make for a nice separate mount. I late this year project at best. Thanks for the suggestion!! |

Hope for other pictures in future. My experience for best results is sandbag up rifle aiming at something at least 25-50y away. Focus on target and then put behind optic about where itd be when using on head. Gives best image of how the housing looks. Good stuff like t2 is a very faint ring. Romeo 5 and pa micro dot and a thick dark ring and cloudy dark image thru the optic. Useable with illuminator, but defeats the purpose of passive aiming for me. |
