Quoted: I'm definitely in the market here depending on the reticle!! Quoted: Quoted: For the MPVO fans, it wouldn’t surprise me that the new 2-10 is coming since they discontinued the old one I'm definitely in the market here depending on the reticle!! The idea of their new MPVOs all having the dumb chevron absolutely kills it for me. |

Quoted: New GLx is coming later in the year. We just couldn't get it ready for SHOT Quoted: Quoted: Hoping for a GLX 2-10 replacement and GLX/PLX 3-5x prisms with integrated mounts for an MRDS New GLx is coming later in the year. We just couldn't get it ready for SHOT And this is different than the 2.5-20 shown on the discovery page? Thanks for being active here and interacting with the community |

Quoted: And this is different than the 2.5-20 shown on the discovery page? Thanks for being active here and interacting with the community Yes lower price point. The new PLx has our new modular turret system. We will have the popular 2.5 -10 with those and also a capped version but again later in the year. Too soon to give details on other Glx, |

Too soon to give details on other Glx, WAIT WAIT WAIT, am I hearing that a PLx 2.5-10 will be coming out later this year???? |
|
Quoted: Can you guys explain that mounting plate system or the new rds? Looking at the photos it looks like the plates are a common design like Glock MOS that screws vertically into the pistol. Then it screws horizontally to the wings on the plate. If they do a green reticle, I’ll buy one. |

Quoted: That will be the Glx 2.5 -10 that was crazy popular with the new modular turrets that are being shown at SHOT on the new long range Plx scopes. Awesome, I just hope it's still around the 22oz the original was. That's the sweet spot to compete with other high end LPVOs |

|
Quoted: @MARSH1 Can you please provide an update on the MD21 red dots, revealed at SHOT 24? Your IG said a preorder for this would be prior to 2025 but that did not occur, and the marketing yesterday mentioned nothing about the line. Damn good question!! The factory keeps pushing delivery. Let me contact them myself |

Quoted: The idea of their new MPVOs all having the dumb chevron absolutely kills it for me. Marsh, I have a lot of respect for you and appreciate you always being reachable. Love the new products, I buy your products, I use your gov/le program to buy a lot of our stuff at work. Can you please look at some of the feedback from here and the longrange subreddit, we would really appreciate not having a distracting chevron on long distance type reticles. So far the best suggestion is to dial up and use one of those hashes as the center which isn't...optimal. |

I'll 100% purchase a 2.5-10 GLX FFP if it weighs less than 87lbs like all the tactical scopes do now! I'd even go for some small, capped or locking turrets for a hunting style scope. Think FFP Leupold VX-5HD with CDS turret. I went back to a non parallax adjustable scope for actual hunting, because- A: one less knob to worry about bumping; B: IMO, any parallax error at 20-500 yards at a scope magnification under 12x or so will be so minimal to not make any difference anyways, as long as your eye is reasonably centered. That said, I have a .22 I'd love to lighten up a bit, and keep a 20ish oz, FFP, parallax adjustable scope on. |

That is what is in the new Slx 2-12 which is why it is SFP. That reticle technology can only be used in SFP. The new Plx FFP Red Dot bright reticles are expensive and currently the Nova technology is our best option for super bright at SLx prices. Some of the new long range already will have non Chevron options. I HEAR YOU Arfcom and while we will keep the current popular reticles there will be more alternatives. I won't go back into the debate or post my standard graphic showing why I like the Chevron, even in long range. We will offer both so you can decide. |

I picked up a 1-6 to test for duty use. Crazy how bright it is. Thanks for the reply. |

Quoted: For my needs i agree. Simple mil reticle cross hairs. Illuminated or even a "firedot" style illumination. I could live with mil xmas tree or whatever. But no circles or balistics reticles or big center chevron. Quoted: Quoted: Ditto!!! For my needs i agree. Simple mil reticle cross hairs. Illuminated or even a "firedot" style illumination. I could live with mil xmas tree or whatever. But no circles or balistics reticles or big center chevron. I hate BDCs on precision optics so much. I hate BDCs in general, but mostly I guess I don’t like when they’re not really geared for my stuff. Seems like every 5.56 BDC is geared towards light grain from a long barrel. If you shoot heavy grain from a shorter barrel usually the 7.62X39 BDC is actually a lot closer. It just goes downhill from there though. When I run the numbers they’re usually not even close. I’d be a lot more inclined to get one if they had more realistic velocities and BCs as inputs. Their Grendel numbers are a lot more optimistic than I can ever get mine. They’re closer to matching my 6Arcs actually. |

Quoted: Yes but we are just trying to keep up right now, Probably SHOT next year Quoted: Quoted: @MARSH1 Any idea if PA will ever do top mount options for dots on the prisms? Maybe a new 4/5x prism, non micro with top mount Yes but we are just trying to keep up right now, Probably SHOT next year Why would you want non-micro? |
|
Quoted: Why would you want non-micro? I have a GLX non-micro 2x prism on my Kalashnikov, and I really, really like it, and I wish they made a 3x or 4x as well. If you look at how people are mounting the magnified micro prisms on ARs, you'll see that most have it pushed as far back on the reciever as they can, with many even running purpose made rear cantilevered mounts to squeeze out as much rearward travel as possible. IMO, I'd rather just have the GLX sized prism and the associated optical benefits instead. Most of the GLX prisms extra size is rearward length, which I think is actually beneficial, since it naturally puts the occular lens where you want it anyways, without any special cantilever mount and while leaving room for a rear BUIS as well. |
