Showing both the PLXC 4.5-36x56 and the PLXC 2.5-20x48 with the new reticles, DEKA G2, Neptune and Athena G2 reticles. No chevrons.![]() Failed To Load Title |

Quoted: The 2.5-20x certainly seems interesting to me. Not much of a precision shooter so the reticles aren't to my liking, but im also a BDC idiot for most of what I've owned That Athena reticle looks good to me. Since it's a crosshair, I'm not sure how easily it can be seen at minimum magnification unless it has very bright illumination. At 30oz, I don't think it's the right choice for anything run-n-gun related but something with minimal movement like a DMR match, it would work well. |

I heard that the Locking Turrets from the GLX lineup have been discontinued. Possibly because of a threatened or actual lawsuit from Leupold. If that is the case, then the PLX 2.5-20x scope might be looking less desirable over the Nightforce NX8 since that was one of the options it lacked. |

Curious on the price of their 2.5-20, TFB dropped a video of the PA booth, and they said they were looking at $2k for the PLXcRDB. So maybe they’re still taking a page from Leupold and charging $500 for Illum (or better illum in this case). Either way, I feel like PA is starting to price themselves out of their market with these scopes. |
| Will the new GLX scopes perhaps be a little less wide across the turrets this go around? I really like my GLX 4-16x50, but it's just so fat side to side due to the big illum knob. I'd be just fine with capped, dialable turrets. Not sure why every scope on the market needs pringles can sized non locking turrets these days. I know they're easier with gloves on, but are you really sniping on Hoth? |

Just like the Vortex Razor 3. I would be fine with the regular PLXc FFP though. I would run an offset reddot anyway. |

We still have the standard etch and fill options. |

Quoted: No page from anyone. Diffractive technology reticles are expense. We still have the standard etch and fill options. Totally understand that, and expected it. There’s a reason why there’s so few FFP optics out there with etched reticles and red dot bright illum. I just wonder at what price point people are just gonna go for the NX8 or spend a bit more for an ATACR. Of course, I’ve never seen a PLxC in person, and while I’ve heard great things about them, but it’s a hard sell for myself personally when I can grab a Nightforce for about them same price. Maybe I’m missing something. |

Maybe I’m missing something. What is "their" market? They provide optics at nearly every budget level and this is their most premium one. In this case, they offer something close to the weight and price of the NX8 with the optical quality closer to the ATACR. They probably come from the same Japanese OEM as well. Seems like a good deal to me, I'll probably have one. |

I have no doubt of the quality of the optic, I’m just asking why someone spending that amount of money on this wouldn’t save some and get a Nightforce NX8, which is what I’ve seen the PLxC directly compared to. Then someone could rationalize spending a little more for an American-made ATACR. That’s what I’m getting at. I love PA, I know they make great stuff, but I’m just looking at what it’s competing with to get an etched reticle and daylight bright illumination. Nothing wrong with more options, either, but I’m just wondering if there’s anything else to it other than RDB illum. I could be behind the times, but most people I know spending this kind of scratch for an LPVO aren’t looking at just how good the glass is or how bright the illum is, they’re looking at who makes it, too. Again, I’m not trying to shit on PA, that’s just how I’m looking at it. I would love to pick one up down the road, especially if it comes out with some great reticle options. Quoted: .....seriously?
