Ordered my LaRue mount the other day and will be saving for the AccuPoint TR24. Not sure about the German Crosshairs tho. |

took out my new grendel for the 2nd time a few days ago. after getting it re-sighted i was popping rocks at 600+/- yards with very little scope compensation. wow!!!!
and here i am trying to explain to my sister inlaw how to hold use an AR15 (first time shooting a gun)

(edited to add pictures) Here is one of the drills we were running today. It was a lot of fun with two people shooting and one person calling targets.
This was my last run of the day so I was trying to conserve the ammo I had left to make it all the way through, and I still ran out. Moving/Covering Drill

Im pretty bored..so i thought id take a few photos of the "action" that my Gov Issue M4 is seein on my second tour to iraq.
i should be home in a couple months. Ive got two Ar's waiting for me. One that I bought all the parts for while i was here..and then a Smith & Wesson MP15T thats going to be my SPR along with an AK. I cant wait to play with all them when i get home. |

| I get wearing camo and tac gear for offical training courses and even compitetion but wouldn't you want to training/learn in just regular street clothes; I doubt many of us wear knee pads and chest rigs around just a thought. And before you flame away, I have the whole tac setup also just a balance between training with the different setups. |

| Deeeviant - Fuck yea.. I was in Mosul for 2007. We didnt hesitate to do warning shots or even engage. We owned the town. But now our LTC is so afraid for us to get hurt or even see any action that he keeps us all on the fob. We do nothing but pull security and do details. We arnt allowed to search people or their property unless we hvae some Iraqi police or Army with us. Its horrible, and the worst part is that all these new guys who came to us before we deployeed and are getting their E5's arnt going to have any real combat experience when they go to their next unit. |
